What to include in a custom optical inquiry
A custom optical inquiry should include the optical job, the parameters that decide fit, the system context, and the quantity basis and delivery basis to be confirmed. For filters, the parameters are centre wavelength or wavelength range, bandwidth or pass band behaviour, cut-off depth where it applies, size and shape, and substrate material. For fluorescence work, add the dye or probe name from the documented list. For neutral density work, add the ND value and the wavelength range. For prisms and lenses, add the model description, size, and material. An inquiry that includes those items can be reviewed against the listed lines; an inquiry that omits them can only be answered with further questions.
Reply timing, stated with attribution
Company profile states that inquiries will be answered within 24 hours. That statement is quoted here as a company profile statement, exactly as the company states it on its homepage. It is not presented on this site as a service guarantee, and it does not appear in any guarantee section or in call-to-action wording. Buyers should still prepare a complete inquiry, because a fast reply to an incomplete inquiry only starts a second round of questions.
Before ordering
Please confirm the specification, quantity basis, and delivery basis in your inquiry before ordering, because no quantity or delivery figures are published on this site. For the custom process in full, see the custom ordering process and custom optical filters. For custom prisms, see custom prism. Use the inquiry form below to prepare your inquiry.
